He couldn't believe this. He couldn't believe any of it. Zaine had left him be. Going on some trip up to the mountains with that girl. He found himself pacing in the apartment. Zaine had left him. Was he going to be safe here? He decided that, as yes he probably would be, it might be better for him to go shopping. Maybe keep his mind off of it.
His sapphire eyes looked everywhere for Zaine's wallet. Surely he wouldn't have taken it with him. And yet, he was right. Zaine's wallet was just there, laying in the middle of his bed. On top of that there was money in it. He wouldn't mind would he? Akira sighed. Stealing from Zaine would probably get him in trouble, but then again, he doubted his Master would do anything to punish him.
He took a few hundred bucks and slowly left the apartment, locking it behind him. He was dressed in all black, but in a classy way, not overly formal, but a nice long-sleeved button down top and some black cargo pants. His favorite outfit since he left his old way of slavery.
Out of the apartment building and down the road he went, his brownish hair moving lightly in the cool wind. He felt that something bad was happening, but he didn't know where or to whom. He just hoped that Zaine and that woman were alright up at the old home of his.
he really hoped that some shopping might take that bad feeling away, but he highly doubted it.

A low growl sounded in Aaliyah's throat as she held the rather large human man by the throat against the wall. Aaliyah was not a woman to be toyed with and this man, was doing just that. Toying with her could very well get him killed. Which was most likely going to happen. Once you saw Aaliyah it was usually the last thing you saw. She was a deadly assassin. A killer for hire. As long as you had the cash to pay her she would complete any and every job you threw her way. She had been a bodyguard before as well though she prefered to kill whoever she was being payed to kill. She didn't like having to baby-sit anyone. And thats how she saw being a body-guard to anyone. Someone who was too weak to defend themselves deserved to die in Aaliyah's eyes but she did what she was told when it came to being employed. But right now Aaliyah was off the clock. This was for what she needed done.
"I'll ask you one last time human.. Where did you hear the name Marcus Li Sung.." Her voice was cold as ice. It may as well have been that way as the air around them started to cool so that you could see your breath everytime you exhailed. Aaliyah's anger was causing the temperture to rapidly drop. Though Aaliyah didn't feel the cold. She didn't feel anything. She was a cold-blooded murderer. She didn't care if it was hot or cold. The human man just grinned and said. "Wouldn't you like to know." Aaliyah's patience was running out as she raised the hand that wasn't holding the man off the ground by his throat against the wall and back handed him across the face spliting his lips so that blood dripped down his chin.
Aaliyah's finger nails elongated and started to dig into the skin of the mans throat. She could feel the blood that she was causing to drip down her fingers. This was her trademark. She usually just closed off most of the windpipe before she ripped their heart from their very chest. "I shall give you one last chance human to save your life. Where did you hear that name." Aaliyah said threw clenched teeth. This man had no idea who she was, but he had known her last name. It made her angry to know where a low life piece of rubbish had heard that name. For he hadn't used her first name but her fathers. She had only just recently learned of her father's name but she still didn't know of her mothers name. Any information leading her to her parents was information enough for Aaliyah. The human man remained quite but this time averted his eyes from her. "Suit yourself, I tried to be nice. No die for me." Aaliyah said before she plunged her hand threw the man's chest and grasped ahold of his heart before ripping it from his body.
As the man's lifeless body fell to the ground with a slight thump she turned her attention to the still beating heart which resided in her hand. Her hand was soaked with blood which was still dripping to the pavement below. The sweet acidic smell a silent reminder of who and what she was. How she was not someone who should be taken lightly. And that she would kill anyone who got in her way. In the next moment Aaliyah heard the sound of approaching footsteps. She slowly turned in the direction of the sound before she crushed the heart in her hand cutting off the rythmic beating in one swift motion. Both of her arms where drenched in blood now as her bright blue eyes made their way to a brown haired boy. "Oh. Another play toy." Aaliyah said was a sadistic laugh. Her laughter was out of no where and was definatly at an inopropriate time. As it always was. Then again. She was schizophrenic.

Akira made his way down the street, minding what little business he held there, apologizing every time he ran into someone because he kept his head down, staring at the cracks in the cement as he went along. The rhythmic sound his shoes made on the ground, the way the air around him smelled, all of it seemed so new and so fresh to him. The thought of buying something without having to be told, the thought of well... thinking. Everything was going good. But he still couldn't erase that feeling of utter dread that was building up inside his chest, all the way to the pit of his stomach.
He moved farther along down the street, stopping into a few different shops and picking up the items that he needed. Longer and longer the road got, and he couldn't help himself from buying new and exciting things. Most of his trinkets were nothing more than nonsense, but all of them meant something to him.
As he was passing one of the alleyways the scent of blood crept up his nose. H shook his head. Why was that awful stench down here? Something so powerful and strong like that was only meant for war. Was someone hurt? Then the laughter hit his ears and he knew there was something wrong.
((sorry everythings so short and taking forever. my muse has been so low lately...))

Aaliyah cocked her head to the side as the blood on her hands slowly started to make a dripping sound in the puddle of the human man's blood. The sounds of his dieing still fresh in her mind. Aaliyah now wanted another kill, more blood on her hands. Another sadistic laugh pass her lips as she watched the brown haired boy with her bright blue eyes. "Do you want to come and play pretty boy?" Aaliyah called out to him as she reached into her pocket and removed a handkerchief. She wiped the blood from her hands as she stepped towards the boy. Her interest was peaked as she caught the scent of a shape-shifter. So he wasn't human now was he. Aaliyah thought to herself as her heels made a clicking sound against the pavement. She did nothing to hide the fact that she was coming towards him. She wanted him to run. The chase was such a thrill and something she hadn't had in quite some time.
She was a deadly assassin. An immortal, there was nothing about her that was human, yes she looked human. That was until you looked into her eyes. You knew instantly that she was a deadly accurate killer just by the crazed look in her eyes, that is unless you couldn't see anything. For the most time Aaliyah gave off no emotion with her flat affect. She was subjected to child like behavior sometimes though that was a rare occasion. For the most part she was either emotionless or she was a killer. Right now there was the crazed and deadly look of the accurate killer that she was. It was what she was good at. She didn't have to worry about others coming after her because she was the best. You couldn't get near Aaliyah without her knowing it. She was that good with what she did.
Aaliyah was alive in some ways dead in others. No one understood what drove Aaliyah to do what she did. No one understood why she continued to do what she did when she had enough money to last her for the rest of eternity. Yet she kept going. Kept killing. No one had been able to stop her just yet. Even her own employer had attempted to have her killed and that was how his life had ended. As well as the six people he had sent after her. Now her newest employer knew not to be so foolish. Aaliyah's reputation as an Assassin was un-rivaled. If Aaliyah had been sent to kill you, you knew your life would be short. There would be no changing her mind by trying to talk to her. If you catch her interest she may toy with you before she killed you, but nonetheless. You will die..

Akira looked over towards the voice that had pierced his mind. He knew he was in a dangerous situation, but what exactly could he do to get out of it? Tell this woman that his mummy told him not to talk to strangers? Yeah right. He swallowed a little harder than he usually would have and slowly backed away, the bags of trinkets slowly starting to fall from his hands. Why was she coming after him? Had he done something wrong? Maybe it was another slave gatherer. Maybe she worked for Destiny and was going to take him there. He shook his head. He didn't want to go back, and no one would take him away from the life he had found.
An assassin. He had seen a few before when he lived in the rich houses. But there was something different about this one. Something more... Crazy. He looked around the emptying street. Was it really getting that late? The vampires would probably start coming out son, which would be bad for him. He disliked vampires. They were.. well. Not very nice to put it simply.
Would he like to play? Not really no. But he didn't really see much of a chance in running, and his shifting was more or less out of control. His eyes darted around, seeing the man's body and the blood on the woman. "Just kill me then. I have nothing to live for anyways." That wouldn't be the response she was looking for. An assassin liked difficult kills. Not easy ones. But he was easy prey. He gathered up his courage and stood there, resting his bags at his sides. His ability to change emotions worked even on himself. He became a lot more calm, and something in his entire demeanor changed. Was there something wrong with this boy? Perhaps. But he wasn't afraid to die. Besides, what were the chances an assassin would be sent after him anyways? Maybe she did just want to play.
